Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of integrated business management software solutions, is urgently seeking to recruit a client-focused and commercially driven Account Manager (Customer Success).

This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients across Africa by ensuring high customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue expansion. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of customer success and consultative sales, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders while driving long-term value for clients.

Requirements

Must-Have

-Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
-Proven experience working with ERP or SaaS platforms.
-Strong business acumen with a curious and analytical mindset.
-Genuine interest in technology and software solutions.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Strong relationship management and negotiation abilities.
-Highly proactive and results-oriented.
-Fluency in English.

Nice to Have

-Experience in sales, account management, or consultancy roles.
-Knowledge of ERP or SaaS solutions.
-Experience working across multiple African markets.
-Ability to perform in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
-Knowledge of additional international languages.

Key Responsibilities

-Manage and develop a portfolio of existing clients across the African market.
-Build a deep understanding of client business operations, needs, and IT projects.
-Identify opportunities to upsell and expand solution adoption by recommending relevant features and modules.
-Present new applications, features, and system updates to clients and end users.
-Lead contract renewal negotiations, including transitioning clients to long-term subscription models.
-Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
-Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and value-driven recommendations.
